Baška is a unique place in the southeast of the island of Krk, known for the beach Vela and numerous attractions.

The island of Krk, the largest island in Croatia with an area of approx. 406 km², is located at the beginning of the Kvarner Bay region and can be easily reached by car from the mainland via the bridge.

Since June 2020, there is no longer a “bridge toll” for crossing to the island.

For air travelers, there is Rijeka Airport. This is located right next to the resort of Omisalj. The airport has good connections to many European airports, but also offers guests the opportunity to take panoramic flights over the islands of Kvarner Bay.
